Admissions

Every enrollment begins with a one-on-one tour and admission interview with the School Director.

Admission requirements

  • Government-issued picture identification and a social security card.
  • Minimum age for students who may enroll in a program is 18.
  • Complete an application for enrollment.
  • Pay a registration fee of $100 and an application fee of $25.
  • All students in all programs must submit a transcript, high school diploma or GED showing high school completion, or a state completion if homeschooled.

It is not the policy of Barbering Bridge Barber School to recruit students already attending or admitted to another school offering a similar program of study.

How to enroll

  1. Step 1

    One-on-one

Schedule a tour and admission interview with the School Director to learn why Barbering Bridge is the right fit for you. Students can schedule an appointment during regular business hours or request an appointment during other times. Walk-ins may not be honored.

  2. Step 2

    Complete your enrollment agreement

Following your interview and tour, we will invite you to take the next steps to become accepted.

  3. Step 3

    Enrollment and registration

If accepted, you will schedule an appointment to register and enroll in the program. A school representative will walk you through the process. The application fee, signed enrollment agreement, registration fee, and kit cost must be completed and submitted before you are considered enrolled in the school.

Appointments only

Walk-ins may not be honored. Call 240-518-8125 or request a tour online.

What it costs to apply

The $25 application fee and $100 registration fee are due at enrollment, along with the signed enrollment agreement and kit cost. Full program pricing, payment methods, and the refund policy are on the tuition and fees page.

Transfer students

No hours will be granted if the transfer applicant has been out of school for more than 12 months from the date of his or her application. No credit will be considered from programs other than the one for which the applicant is applying. Unofficial transcripts are not an acceptable form of validation.

Clock hour transfer is evaluated and issued based on a skills assessment of both a theory and a practical test.

Students must obtain at least 75% on the written test and at least 75% on the practical test. No hours will be assigned if a score of less than 75% is obtained.

Transfer students pay the same registration fee to enroll, plus tuition. This does not include the cost of a complete and current student kit. Transfers will only be accepted when space is available; full program starts are granted priority.
